
The Earthwise Open Day 2010
"Celebrating sustainability in the suburbs"
is being held on Saturday September 4th, 10am - 4pm.
To celebrate the installation of environmental technology Earthwise is having an
Open Day themed "celebrating sustainability in the suburbs".
On the day there will be:
• Tours of the new environmental technology
• Tours of the permaculture gardens
• Worm farm and composting workshops
• Live music and entertainment
• Bargains in the op-shop
• Homemade wood-fired pizzas, devonshire tea,
fresh fruit juice and fruit creams
• and a variety of interesting stalls!

Schools

The garden has entertained many school groups and is relevant to all ages in both informative and hands-on
educational terms. Furthermore, members of Earthwise have also gone out to teach on-site at Primary and Secondary schools.
